JEE is not an ordinary exam, it requires primary focus and dedication. Thus one needs to find proper strategy to crack this exam.

Points to remember while making Strategy:

  • First and the most important point is avoid multiple targets as far as possible, when a student comes in 10th or 11th, he/she is so much of energy and enthusiasm that he/she picks up multiple targets like they decide to give all olympiads like KVPY, NSEP, NSEC, PRMO etc. But we should know that all of them require keen dedication. One should have one primary target i.e JEE and then if he/she is able to prepare for it easily and have time left then they can choose any one of the above targets. But taking all the targets and then not able to prepare for any of them properly is a foolish thing.
  • Self-Study time should be greater than Tuition time, this is one of the problem students face in this phase. Students go in school, any coaching and then private tuition which take up around 8-10 hours of their total day, so now where is the time for self-study. In tuitions we only feed information in our mind, we also, need time to retain this information, thus self-study time is a must.
  • Proper Sleep, again a very important point which maximum students ignore. As a student we have to retain many things throughout the day, our brain is also a machine which needs proper rest after working for the whole day. Thus a proper sleep of 6-7 hours is very important to retain things we have learnt throughout the day.
